Joel Ferreira

Joel Ferreira Figueiredo is a musician, composer and producer based in Porto, Portugal. Started playing and recording since 2002 between Ambient and Metal Genres and then he has been exploring is musical universe through Dark Jazz, Blues/Rock, Dream Pop and Experimental through is main project Joel Fausto & Illusion Orchestra since 2008, that he released already five albums (Last one called ‘Deus é Cego’ last month’). He participated in some films as a Jazz and filmscore composer with the names ‘Berlin Hustle’ and ‘Blood’s A Rover’. He has been invited by the Welcome to Twin Peaks to a music compilation called ‘Isn’t it too dreamy?’ with the song ‘Someone Sang And Slowly Danced’. Nowadays, he explores other genres like Alternative Funk, Synth Pop and Electronic Soundscape music as a professional.
